I like these organic approaches to your posts. This time was the first time i listened to it… its awesome, your voice is so full of colour (dare i say flavour?) I’m now looking forward to reading and listening to your posts!

Thanks so much, Marc!

Having a musician complement my voice makes my day! These voiceovers are my first serious foray in to recording and I’m really enjoying it! And also it’s hard and it’s driving me crazy!😆

but I’m learning a lot.

Poetry at open mics fairly frequently, which is kind of how I developed my reading voice.

Thanks again for listening!

It’s got superb cadence, I really enjoyed your delivery. As for myself, when I speak between songs, it’s rather awkward - something I need to work on myself, haha! Glad you are enjoying the recording bit, I think it sounds great :)

Well, thank you again.

I imagine speaking between songs would feel pretty awkward to me too.

Do you have some idea of what you want to say beforehand, or do you improvise?

I used to emcee some live readings and sometimes I had to introduce authors I knew nothing about! That helped teach me to think on my feet!

You probably feel more awkward than you sound, though…in my experience we’re much harder on ourselves than others tend to be.

And also I think the talking between songs thing is just…some musicians are good at it and then I’ve seen some of my favorite artists and they were awkward as hell. So, it’s not the biggest deal in the world, y’know? lol
